Valerie Lovelace had an awesome program at the Hubbard Free Library. Valerie is a holistic practitioner who went over assisted dying and understanding the debate. Valerie explained the current end-of-life legislation, end-of-life protected freedom, and differing viewpoints.
I would recommend this program.

Looking for an interesting, enlightening, and thought-provoking program for adults?
On Saturday, we hosted Valerie Lovelace, executive director of It's My Death, who offered background on the movement of aid-in-dying in Maine and across the United States and facilitated inquiry into various aspects of the debate.
I can't say enough about how respectful and well-prepared Valerie was for audience questions.
Please check out the web site at http://itsmydeath.com/ and think about inviting her to your library.

An exceptional presentation on end-of-life issues related to human rights. Thank you so much for this engaging community discussion!

Valerie Lovelace was so compassionate and sensitive to the needs I had for a dual memorial ceremony to highlight and celebrate the lives of my daughter and grandson. That meant the world to me and I could not have been more pleased with the outcome.
